How to Use Cloze exercises.Volunteer in Thailand2 400

These exercises have missing words that the student inserts as they hear you speak them.

You will have printed one copy of the exercise per student for them to complete.

An example of such an exercise is here. The missing words are included at the end of each exercise to assist the students.

You obviously need to know the missing words yourself so the complete file is included for you, as shown below.

This is a  message that was given to the original users of the cloze exercises

The exercises were accompanied by a tape that the user listened to.

EPWS41-48 Cloze Exercises

Listen to the sound track of Maxwell speaking and fill in the missing words as you hear them.

There are also six multiple choice exercises to test your listening ability.

The content of these exercises is set in and around Perth, the capital city of Western Australia.

These exercises go with the sound tracks of Maxwell speaking and have blank spaces in them (cloze exercises) that you fill in as you hear the missing words. There are also some multiple choice questions using the sound tracks that you will find more difficult than the Cloze exercises.
The easiest of these cloze exercises are the ones including a "C" in the name as they have fewer missing words.

You have the answers and the complete set of words in the transcript so that you can also just listen to the words and read them.

SCME11-25 Cloze Exercises

These exercises are like those in EPWS41-48 except the content is set in the eastern states of Australia in Sydney and Canberra.

These exercises go with the sound tracks of Maxwell speaking and have blank spaces in them (cloze exercises) that you fill in as you hear the missing words.

You have the answers and the complete set of words in the transcript so that you can also just listen to the words and read them.
